Twenty years ago to date the Berlin Wall went down and a new era was inaugurated not only for Germany but for the whole world. Freedom and the right to access all kinds of goods and services became reality for half of Germany - the half that had been denied to be human.
The wall went down. And the world became better.
Now it's time for part of the American population to be allowed a basic human right, the right to access affordable health care. A huge wall has existed between health care and some 40 million Americans. Although the House passed the bill last Saturday, there is still a long way to go. The PARTY OF NO has significant representation in the Senate, and they are really committed to keep DOING NOTHING FOR THE PEOPLE of this country. Well, what's new anyway?
What amazes me, however, is that an individual like Senator Lieberman is still considered a Democrat, or someone who works for the people.But he does NOT! He was against Obama for president. He is against health care reform.
Last night Senator Lieberman said on Fox News that he cannot vote for a public option being in the bill for reasons of consciousness. WOW!!!! What a HYPOCRITE! In his campaign he declared time and time again that he supported health reform, and made several statements in favor of public option. And now, he changes his position on the issue, deceiving his electorate.... and this is not a matter of "consciousness" for him??? This is stunning!!! I guess he has been in bed with the health insurance companies to a point that his "consciousness" would be violated if he did something against those giant companies. But, what about the people of this country? Well,.... sorry, but... who cares?
So, now we have Senator Lieberman saying that he will even filibuster the bill in the Senate if it contains a public option. Mr Lieberman does not want to "tear down the wall".

This time the message is crystal-clear! It's the World telling America that they are relieved and happy that America has again chosen a decent, intelligent, and friendly President. The Bush-it years were not only hard on us in the States, they were also a nightmare to the whole World. Bush not only destroyed America but many important bridges with the rest of the world as well, and made too many enemies.
Now, the guys who are making all those insane comments of dissatisfaction with the prize being given to Obama, those are true ANTI-AMERICANS. They never think of the people in this country, their only interest is protecting big corporations and the wealthy - thus assuring some good revenues to themselves. Selfish, insensitive people. But it seems that their corrupt and corroding power is decreasing by the day. The American people seem to be waking up, being able to defend themselves against the exploitation that we saw from 2000 to 2008 - the Bush-it years.
Limbaugh and his minions keep barking. But their effectiveness is now weakening by the hour. The intelligent people in this country, the good thinkers, are realizing how stupid and unpatriotic are those hypocrite conservatives who will do whatever possible to make OBAMA FAIL. LINDSEY GRAHAM WANTS AMERICA TO FAIL!
Just today, the outspoken representative (R) Lindsey Graham made a strong imperialist statement about bombing Iran and destroying it's capability to defend themselves against foreign attacks. He was not talking only about nuclear weapons, which should be prevented, of course. He threatened them with destroying ALL their military capability. What kind of delusional imperialism is this? It's sick, just another Bush-it style idiotic talk.
At a time when President Obama's diplomacy with the Iranians is starting to work, a time when we all should be sensitive and hopeful, comes this foolish bozo trying to undermine the President's efforts to resolve the conflicting issues in peace. Does he want more war? How many more of our best troops should die in vain as it happened in Iraq? What an idiot! What right does he have to talk in a way that jeopardizes the American people's hope?
It's time for those Republicans to stop their unending efforts to make AMERICA TO FAIL! If America fails as they wish, we all, the people, will be immersed in a disgrace never seen before.

NOW THE DOTS ARE CONNECTED!!!
Finally the dots have been connected. There were many intriguing events that happened during the Bush-it Administration. They broke the law, they violated the Constitution, they mislead the American people with lies, they started an unwarranted war, they destroyed our economy, and the list goes on. BUT, they got away with everything. How come?
Then, after supporting Wall Street in stealing all our money and breaking the popular economy by " transferring" people's money to the wealthy 1% in the nation, they came up with the criminal bail out in October of 2009. First Congress voted along with the people, saying NO to the robbery. Then, after the Administration used the threat of declaring MARTIAL LAW, Congress succumbed and the people lost - again.
There were many dots that were not connected - until yesterday, when I watched Michael Moore's movie "Capitalism: a Love Story." Thanks Mike for connecting the dots for us. Now I understand it better, seeing how the power was abused by "the gang" in destroying America so much.
If a Republican had won the past election, it would have been time to "pack up and go" because this country would have been marching toward slavery again: "the people" would become the slaves of "a few people". To which we are actually very close, and I hope Obama will succeed in reverting the process. We need to restore DEMOCRACY again, and rebuild the middle class - otherwise we are done as a great country.
Again, Thanks Mike for helping this tired nation to understand what we went through during Cheney/Bush. I hope it helps people to think rationally before they vote again - though I have serious doubts about it: it's the same people who elected Bush, and even after seeing who his "gang" was and what they all were doing to the country, they still re-elected him.

One of the core principles taught in the Bible is that we need to be sensitive to others' needs and distresses. To be a Christian involves promoting the well-being of other people who are struggling with insurmountable difficulties in life.
Republicans are unanimously united in denying to over 40 million Americans the right to access affordable health care. And they call themselves "conservatives". I don't know what are they actually "conserving". It's probably the money paid to them by lobbyists that they are "conserving" in their pockets. Those representatives are elected to fight on our (people's) behalf, in order to make everyone's life more just and more humane.
But what are they doing instead? They are just blocking people's access to one of the most fundamental human rights: health care. They are a bunch of hypocrites that have mislead voters and deceived their constituents. For how long more will they be able to continue this unpatriotic behavior? They are actually traitors of people's interests, and should be just voted out to give someone else the opportunity to be a true representative of the people.
Will the American Christians ever wake up and stop this un-Christian, deceitful behavior in Washington?

The Republicans that are trying to equate Congressman Wilson's shouting at the President with Congressman Grayson's comments on the republican no-plan on health care must be suffering lack of intelligence. Or do they think that the American people are all idiots who will keep buying into their overt attempt to rip us all off?
Wilson offended the President of the US with a false accusation. Grayson exposed who the Republicans are and what are they trying to do to us. Look at Mr. Cantor's response during the town hall meeting to the woman who was asking him what his plan for her would be. He just told her, 'go an f... yourself.' This is what we always hear from the Republicans, unless we are in the 1% top wealthy in the nation - then we get a tax break!!!
The time has come to stop the abuse of the people in this great Nation. It was time, wasn't it? After being tired of seeing my fellow Democrats in the Congress acting as cowards, I felt the fresh air blowing again when Mr. Grayson got the guts to stand for what is right and tell the Republicans what they needed to hear - the truth about themselves!
What else do we need to see from the Republicans to finally understand that they absolutely DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE? The ONLY thing they care now is to prevent the President and the Democrats from being successful in helping the American people and from bringing some social justice to all.
The Republicans have been so accustomed to the criminal activity and violation of the Constitution during the Cheney (Bush-it!) era that now they are having difficulty to operate. On his show today, the REVOLUTION commander-in-chief RUSH LIMBAUGH made serious allegations about President Obama's conduct. According to "Limbo," President Obama received votes from dead people and is now sending cash to dead people.
This needs to be properly INVESTIGATED. "Limbo" should be given the opportunity to testify under oath in the US Congress, and PROVE his "facts."
If it is just another of "Limbo's" usual mud throwing, as he does almost daily, then he should be brought to JUSTICE and if convicted sent to prison for a long time. He has done so much damage to our society and to the American people but it's time for him to take responsibility for his lies and absurdities.
"Limbo" can certainly be considered one of the biggest enemies of the American PEOPLE, since he works for the benefit only of a small group of wealthy people who care less about our Country and our middle and poor classes. This is why he is so increasingly INFURIATED with President Obama, and dangerously outspoken (a.k.a. idiotspoken!).

SAFER UNDER CHENEY / BUSH-IT? NO!!! IT'S A LIE!

What is now all that talk in the media about being "safer under the Cheney / Bush-it Administration?" Is everyone forgetting that it was under their Administration that 9/11 happened?
Our Country WAS NOT PROTECTED under Cheney/Bush-it. It was successfully attacked because the government was not doing their job. It took 7 (seven!) minutes for Bush-it to get his but out of that chair after he was notified, "Mr. President, the Country is under attack." It almost seemed like he didn't care at all. Did he know something?
Because of lack of protection and poor intelligence over 3,000 people perished when the towers collapsed. Then they lied to us about Iraq and more than 4,500 of our best troops were killed for nothing else than Cheney's obsession with war and oil. Bush was just an idiot signing war declarations. Cheney was the mentor of all that Bush-it... that at the end has massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians.
The Law was broken, the Constitution was violated, International agreements were just ignored (Geneva Convention), no-bid contracts were handed to gangs, and so many others illegalities were committed. AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO THE CRIMINALS?
What kind of AMERICA have we become?

WATERBOARD CHENEY!

Since Cheney denies that waterboarding is torture, he should be waterboarded to tell us the truth about his relationship with the Enron scandal, and the Halliburton no-bid contracts, and everything else about the invasion of Iraq for no reason. Did he and Bush lie to us? Well, just waterboard them and get the truth!!! According to them it's not torture, so it's probably just a few seconds of pure "fun," right? Right...!
The Republicans have been treating the American people like idiots. But those days are over. The American people finally woke up and boot them out of government. The bad news is that the Reps didn't get it yet, and keep talking to us as if we were just a bunch of unintelligent imbeciles.
Telling us that waterboarding is not torture is just an offense. Those who say so should be waterboarded to experience it, and after that they could tell us more about how fun it is.
America does not torture. American people do not torture. But Bush & Gang did torture and they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I think, also, that they committed treason of some of our most important human values.
They are just a bunch of criminals that were able to go around the law - so far. Will the current Administration condone such an abuse of power? Hopefully not!

It is obvious that senator SPECTER, alike the majority of the American people, could no longer take the ongoing Bush-it and craziness running in the Republican Party. I always respected him a lot - despite he being a Republican - but he was a decent one anyway.
Senator Specter just showed that he is a decent, honest man who has a consciousness. This is what America needs now. We don't need those Republican hypocrites that are still trying to convince us that they really care about "the people" - because now we clearly know that they DO NOT.
I only wonder if there is at least one more of his kind. Anyone else jumping out of the sinking Republican Titanic???
If I saw Rush Limbaugh doing it, I would certainly be very suspicious, thinking it's a plot designed to destabilize the Democrats. But he is not rational enough to get the American people's message - so, this is never going to happen. He will keep talking Bush-it for three hours a day. And, who cares? We have enough people in Washington taking care of our (the middle class') business. Let them bark. Our camels keep walking safely through the night toward our destination.

The "TortureGate" issue is bigger and much worse than WaterGate. Look at the implications and consequences of each case and see the huge difference between them.
In democratic Countries people who break the law go to jail. Is America still a democratic Country? The Bush gang has to be prosecuted, because they clearly BROKE THE LAW and VIOLATED THE CONSTITUTION. And worse, they just laughed at us while doing it, and they still keep laughing at us because they feel they can't be touched.
It is time for the President to go ahead with his campaign promise and to show that NOBODY is above the law.
The old fox (or, rat?), Cheney, must be dementing, because he really doesn't get it. He appears to be thinking that he still has the VP powers. He will not leave Washington and will not shut up with his nonsense. His latest statements are actually very helpful and welcome, because they are triggering more investigation and more indignation with all the Bush-it crimes committed by the gang.
The gang that destroyed our Country for eight years must be prosecuted. Not for their “opinions and policies” as some like Karl Rove and Sean Hannity are saying, but for their well known CRIMES and VIOLATIONS of the Constitution.

WHO "FORMULATED" THE CRIMES?

President Obama said today that those who "formulated" the crimes and the abusive orders given to the TORTURERS could be prosecuted.
Well, I am glad we all (but the Republicans...) know who they are: CHENEY, BUSH, and some more like Karl Rove....
I hope that those in the past who "formulated" our laws will be honored by having the laws applied correctly against those who "formulated" the breaking of those laws.

The argument that the next President may go after Obama for something he/she doesn't like about the current administration is a very weak point. Dick Cheney is behaving like the lion that tasted blood once and could not stop looking for more.
For eight years Cheney has done the more anti-American and vicious things imaginable, hurting our Country almost fatally. He and his gang destroyed America so badly that I wonder if we are ever to recover from the destruction.
We finally got rid of him and the whole crew, voting them out from the government. Well,... so I thought! It seems that the lion is back, hunting for more blood. He became used to dictate even what the Bush-it President should do and say, and was able to manipulate so many agencies and businessess related to Iraq. Yes, he was in charge of everything. Amazingly, nobody had the guts to expose and prosecute the breaking of the law and the violation of our Constitution. He felt, and was, powerful.
But those days, Mr. Cheney, are over. I was very disappointed a couple of days ago when Obama seemed trying to avoid prosecution of those crimes, but I feel a little relieved today because it seems that there is still hope that the criminals who broke the Law will pay for their abuse of government power.

Apparently he thinks he is one position above the President of the Unites States of America. But, for sure, he is completely delusional to say the least.
Challenging President Obama for a debate in Limbo's studio? He must be mentally disturbed! Who he thinks he is? Besides, is he forgetting that President Obama was ELECTED with more than 50% of the votes?
Limbaugh is an expert in offending the intelligence of people who can think rationally, at the same time being able to manipulate the minds of some many millions of naive listeners who end up being brain-washed by his infamous and outrageous comments on a daily basis.
Are Limbaugh and his accomplices going berserk? Of course they are!
They are used to manipulate the economy and society in general in a way that the wealthy get great benefits in detriment of the forgotten middle class. And then, suddenly, there is a democratic government in place stopping the abusive Bush-it dictatorial mode, giving the middle class some hope again, and starting to clean up the economic mess that has built up during the past eight years of government. This is certainly very tough for those so called "conservatives" to take.
"Limbo" and the other hypocrite Republicans will yell and scream still louder. Just wait. Wait until Obama's health reform gets on track! They will go NUTS! They will go against anything that is done for the middle class. They are the party of "NO, NO, NO" in an effort to stop any action that benefits the people.
Yeah, but sorry..., it is now obvious that this time the American people expressed very convincingly the desire to be part of the crowd and voted the bastards out.

WALL STREET: REPUBLICAN WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION?

Something is wrong on Wall Street.
Despite the enormous efforts by the Federal Government to stabilize and stimulate the economy, Wall Street is responding in a republican way. Which means, in a negative way. The more resources the Obama administration provides, the worse it becomes on Wall Street.
Well, it's well known who controls Wall Street. So, it's not a surprise that the stock market may have been used in helping to "take the Country back" from the people. The Republicans' vote for every rescue operation so far has been a big, clear NO. Limbaugh and his minions already declared their wishes that the Obama government fails, thus hoping that the rescue plan doesn't work.
Thus, we should not be surprised if we soon realize that Wall Street has been used by the Republicans as a weapon of mass destruction. They already demonstrated that they do not care about the people anyway. The middle class is inexistent in the Republican realm. So, what else could we expect?

True, the Republicans are not used to the idea of the Country being in the hands of the people. They do not even think about the people. They just want to "possess" the Country, having control in a way that the people just work for the wealthy "owners" of the Country.
For the past eight years the Republicans literally possessed the Country, and look what a destruction they accomplished during the Bush-it administration. Apparently they forgot that America is a DEMOcracy (despite the Electoral College system...), which means a government "by the people." Though it seems they still think of the US as a "REPUBLICANcracy." Big mistake; the people just kicked them out and took the Country back. No wonder they are restless: they had to give up power!
I hope the Republicans don't give up on people like Limbaugh, Sara Palin, governor Jindal, Sean Hannity, and so on. As long as these people keep talking, the American people will be reassured of their only goal of "taking the Country back from the people's hands" and their wishes that the Obama administration fails. Imagine: those people want the government to fail in rescuing the economy and other social projects! This is probably why they were so happy with the Bush-it government, that was, indeed, a total failure!

Draw a circle on a piece of paper, make a mark anywhere on it, and write "Communist Mentality" on the mark.
Now put the pencil on that mark and go 360 degrees on the circle ( in any direction). Make a mark, and write "Wild/Extreme Rightist Radical Capitalist Mentality."
What did you just learn? That an extreme capitalism is in essence nothing else than what communism ended up being after 70 years of existence in the Soviet Union. Exactly the same: total carelessness for people's needs, exploitation of the workforce, total insensitivity toward the middle class, protection of the rich, lower taxation of the rich, abuse of power, and violations of human rights.
This is exactly what we had during the Bush-it Administration, correct? This also explains why the Republicans, so used to do all those things, are now infuriated with the Obama Administration, that is trying to break the pattern and to literally "spread the wealth." The Republicans just cannot take it! They are used to keep the power of the money in the hands of a very slim minority of rich people, with total disregard to the great middle class. They are going berserk with this radical change. They call it "Socialism" as if this were something bad.
Well, one day the Soviet Union collapsed, and along with it communism collapsed as well. Fortunately, the eight years of the Bush-it administration came to an end too, thus stopping the abuses of the Radical Capitalist government that afflicted this Nation so badly. Now we can breath again, despite the destruction, the devastation, the horrible dust, and the contamination those people left behind.

So.... what is SEAN HANNITY going to say now about "Sir" Allen Stanford? Is he still that excited with the man's gold?
If there is one thing that is irritating in those radical, insane Republicans like Hannity is their hypocrisy and the way they talk to the American people. Let me explain what I mean:
First, they portray that fake image of moralists, almost pretending to be saints, putting down anyone who could possibly disagree with their views - but at the end of the day, sooner or later, their association with crooks shows up anyway.

Where in the World would so much abuse of power be tolerated by the opposition and by the crowds? Only in a nation of cowards. Mr. Holder is right on the money!
I hope Mr. Holder will show consistency by prosecuting the crimes committed by Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the gang. President Obama is talking about "bringing this Nation back." Great. DON'T SAVE, RATHER SPEND! NEW REPUBLICAN PHILOSOPHY?

It's is outrageous to see how little some people care about the American people's well being and personal finances. Now that the prior President finally stopped all his Bush-it, thus also ending a long nightmare, the American people are getting the impact of the destructive actions perpetrated by that gang during the past eight years. People are losing their jobs, properties, and cash.
It's in times like this that Rush Limbaugh had the audacity (today) of criticizing Suze Orman and others for telling their audiences to save their cash, avoiding spending it on things that are not necessary or even superfluous. "Limbo" actually made fun of those saving ideas.
Republicans love the idea of spending, spending, spending. When the middle class spends, the big corporations get richer! But, the middle class can't become stronger when they are not financially strong. One of the problems in America is overspending, spending on unnecessary goods. People buy things just to store them in their garages - at the same time that their money goes to big companies. How stupid is this behavior?
So now we have the new "Limbo Doctrine" that says, "don't save, get broke." This is probably one of the most un-patriotic counsels I've ever heard. It's an attempt to brain-wash people's minds, leading them to behave irresponsibly and self-destructively. It's clearly an attempt to keep people financially weak so that the control power stays in the hands of a minority that exploits the masses. It's the most wild capitalism, that at the end resembles communism! The idea is the same: a rich minority controlling and exploiting the people.
Of course the bastards who defend such ideas are nervous, enraged and infuriated with Barack Obama. The President is the symbol of the end of this virtual enslavement of the middle and poor classes.
Bush almost destroyed the whole popular economy - but not the economy of the rich! Another 4-year term of a Republican government would probably have "accomplished de mission" of completely destroying the popular economy.

This is actually beyond imagination. But, think that the MOB had some 41 seats in the Senate and 178 in the House. What would they do? How would they behave?
I am sure they would:
1) Make sure that nobody voted against the MOB's interests, no matter what the implications for the American people could be. They would become infuriated if some three Senators dared to vote along with the opposition.
2) Make decisions without even hearing what the President had to say in a meeting with them.
3) They would wish that the current government's plans to rescue the economy and the Country failed.
4) They would faithfully follow a mentor who could inspire them to be un-patriotic, and "rush" them into becoming obstacles to any bi-partisan negotiations.
5) They would accuse the Democrats of destroying capitalism, despite the fact that the prior President already did it!

The new approach is really unique: they wish the economy rescue plan fails, so that they may persuade voters to do a stupid thing, i.e., to vote again in those who presided over when the current catastrophe was generated and developed into the national and international tragedy we see now.
It is more than obvious, again, that the Republican Party could care less about people in America. They care first about their own politics, second about keeping the rich richer - with total disconsideration of the middle and poor classes. This is why they are so infuriated with the Obama administration, and decided to boycott whatever could work to rescue the economy and to stabilize people's personal finances.
The "Rush Doctrine" is the most un-patriotic and devastating tool I have ever heard of. It was very exciting to hear President Obama press conference last night, which included him reminding the American people that he "inherited" a huge deficit from the disastrous Bushit administration.
Yes, he got a broken/bankrupted Country after it was destroyed during what I call "our eight-year-long nightmare." And now the "Newborn Republicans" want to already criticize him, attempting to transfer to him the blame for what THEY presided over? How stupid they think we, the American People, are?
The RepubLIMBO Party should be reminded that we are not brainless, though they deal with us as we were so. We are clearly seeing them trying to obstruct whatever good things President Obama wants to do for our Country. They already showed that they make their minds even before hearing about the issues (as they did when President Obama addressed a group of them a few days ago).
The RepubLIMBO Party is now abiding by principle..., the principle of being against the President's leadership, obstructing whatever projects they can, and being negative about everything that would benefit the common middle class Americans. They are infuriated that this Administration is going to help the middle class to stand on its feet again. They can't believe that the privileges of the wealthy will be extended to all. The old saga keeps going on, and on, and on: the Republicans showing less and less respect for the American People. They keep talking and acting as if we all were brainless and mentally retarded. Do they really believe in all that nonsense they are talking about? Do they really think that nobody is watching or can't see the damage they are inflicting to the Country?
The Republican rhetoric has changed dramatically. In the past eight years we never saw any republican concern about the middle class, the people in general, did we? Everything the Bush/Cheney gang did was always geared toward benefiting the wealthy only. There was NOT ONE PROJECT in eight years that benefited the middle class.
Then, after being defeated by the American People in the November/2008 elections, suddenly we see the "newborn Republicans" (the same guys!)showing up and delivering a new discourse as if (as if!!!) they were now including the middle class in their concerns. How stupid do they think we all are?
Today McCain - yes, the very one who was rejected - had the nerve to speak against the rescue plan being voted by the Senate. There he is, preaching the same failed ideas that the Bush-it administration practiced for eight years and that bankrupted us the people, destroyed the Country, and affected the entire World.
Those "newborn Republicans" are just a bunch of hypocrites frustrated, depressed, and desperate just because their BS (Bestial Strategy) has been rejected by the American people who still can think!

Only 15 days have passed since being kicked out of office by the American people and "The Dick" is back? May be in his delusional mind he still thinks to be the vice-president... the one who manipulated the "bright" President for eight years.
Yes, today Cheney resumed his tactics of scaring the American people. In the name of fear he started an illegitimate war that already killed over 4,500 of our best troops and over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians apparently just for the fun of it,... I mean, just to make Halliburton, some Oil companies, and other businesses wealthier.
He and all his gang have too much blood in their hands, for what they belong to prison because of the the crimes committed against humanity, against our economy, against decency, against our Army, against truth, against the Law of the Land, against the Constitution, and so on. And the man won't shut up? This is crazy!!!
It's time for the Justice Department (Attorney General) to start investigating these people's crimes. It may be the only way to make them shut up.

Unbelievable! KARL ROVE had the audacity today to ask for protection from the new White House, in an attempt to avoid the law being applied in a process that can finally seek prosecution of his (well known) activities in the Bush-it administration.
As a voter and Obama supporter, I am very curious to see how the President is going to handle this incident. Will he honor his statement, "Nobody is above the law?" or will he succumb right away bowing down to those criminals?
If Obama does what is right, the nation will increase confidence and support - and we will be closer to seeing justice done. If he disappoints us, it may be the end of his political carrier, and it could lead to political instability in the nation. Left alone what the consequences will be internationally.

This is my only possible conclusion after listening Mr. "Limbo" for a few minutes daily in the past few days, since he is "revealing" to the American people everything that Mr. Obama is going to do in the next (at least) four years. He seems to know "all secrets"...
It's amazing: he is telling exactly what is going to be done and what will happen, in such detail that only a person very close to the President could know. Obviously, Mr. Obama has already a very detailed plan for every day of his presidency - and this is what is being leaked by "Limbo, the secret agent." Wow!
Since Obama is now utilizing "Limbo, the entertainer" for this leaking job, McCain may now decide to utilize "Joe, the plumber" once again, for him to leak some plans about a possible support from McCain to "Sarah, the Palin" for presidency in 2012, in which McCain may run for vice-president... (Unless she choses Joe the plumber for her VP due to McCain still having too much hair on his head...)

How stupid and irresponsible is it for the Republicans to delay confirmations just for the fun of it?
While we the people are in such a great need after the Bush eight-year-nightmare, there are the Republicans in the Senate preventing the new administration from working at full speed right away.
While the Country is bleeding, there are those hypocrit Republicans telling the nominees, "Sir, you WILL be confirmed, but... only next week! HAHAHA."
Can't those irresponsible idiots see that there is no room for this type of politics when the Country is going down the tubes? But again, it only shows that the Republicans care less about the Country and the people. They are still irated that now we got a government that focuses on the middle class rather than on the rich only, and apparently they are having a hard time digesting the idea.
I hope voters will not forget these Republicans on the next election.

It's amazing that in a moment of such a big urgency for economic solutions, the "patriotic" Republicans in Congress are choosing to delay the vote on Obama's rescue package. As usually, they again could care less about the Country's needs and the people's needs, their focus being only on their own interests.
They are a bunch of hypocrites who keep telling us one thing but do exactly the opposite. Apparently they are all allied with Rush "Limbo" in their desire to see the Obama administration not to be successful. How can they sleep at night? Do they have any consciousness left? Any respect for the American people? Any trait of decency? Doesn't look like!
Democrats should be more vocal about the Republicans and their efforts to impede moving faster to implement the solutions that are most needed to help with the economic crisis. Their names and actions should be published and exposed on TV and radio everywhere - hoping that the voters will be more intelligent on the next election.

THE KGBush TRIAL
The crimes of the past administration are so many, but I wonder if the Obama Administration will ever have the guts to prosecute the KGBush gang.
Just the unfolding scandal about spying illegaly on every American is enough to send those crooks to prison for a long time. Left alone starting a war for no reason, telling lies to the Country, vaporizing tax payers' money (the operation "no penny left behind"...), Guantanamo Gulag, and so many other violations of the Constitution.
I always compared Bush to Stalin. It is now evident that I was right, it was an accurate comparison. Can't find yet who to compare Cheney to. I guess... to Cheney himself!

"NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW!"

This great nation cannot wait to see the "untouchables" gone from the White House and their serial criminal activity in government finally ending after an eight-year long nightmare that tormented America and destroyed the Country so badly.
There is, however, a big challenge that arises as we get back from total dysfunctionality to some normality, i.e., what needs to be done to vindicate human rights, decency, respect, and moral values in this Country. Not only the American people are expecting some action in this sense, but the whole world is curiously looking at us to see if we as a nation will honor the basic principle that nobody is above the law.
It will be a tragic and costly disaster to our nation if W. Bush and his whole gang are not prosecuted right away for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Some of those criminals should be immediately sent to Hague for prosecution - which would be a short visit because the evidence available against them is huge and can easily lead to conviction.
BUT... will the Obama administration do it? Obama already pronounced that, "Nobody is above the law!" - now he has to show the guts to actually make justice by applying the law equally to all. It's time to show that neither the untouchables are above the law. Their crimes are horrendous, they belong to prison.
The whole world is watching us. The question is,
"Will our new President take the necessary action to vindicate our national moral code?"

THE ULTIMATE PRESIDENTIAL INSULT

This was the ULTIMATE PRESIDENTIAL INSULT to the American people and to the World!
Last night former president Bush-43 had, once again, the audacity of insulting everyone's intelligence in his televised farewell speech. The man must be suffering of some kind of identity problem, or may be he developed some mental condition that keeps him delusional. Or he is just experiencing the results of heavy drinking in the past. Everything he told us either didn't happen in his presidency, or what happened was just the opposite of what he said. But History will be written by the facts that afflicted us, not by Bush's last minute delirious speeches around the Country.
It's unbelievable that for eight years America was in the hands of a gang of neo-conservatives that made everything possible to destroy this Country in several frontiers. I hope these "neo-cons" will soon become just "cons" - after being prosecuted, tried, convicted, and imprisoned. They acted as being above the law, but America should teach them and to everyone else, that nobody is above the law. They violated the Constitution openly and with a straight face, while kept saying that they were defending it. How stupid they think we all are?
Bush keeps reminding us of those 3,500 people who died on 9/11. Yes this was a tragedy imposed by terrorists, and so many precious lives were lost along with great property value. However, he should be reminded that by his most stupid and irresponsible decision (yeah, "the decider"...) over 4,500 of our best troops were killed in a war that had no other reason than benefiting some big corporations. Over 100,000 Iraqi civilians were massacred. Thousands of families were dismembered. Thousands of children lost parents. And the value of the property that was destroyed cannot be calculated.
The nightmare is almost over. Well, I wish it were just a nightmare. But it was not. It was a real psychological hell for Americans, a real destruction of our nation, and a real worldwide disaster. I wonder if America will ever recover from this eight-year-long tragedy. I'm afraid it will not!
President Obama and his team will be very surprised when they find out the actual condition of this Country. I bet they don't yet have an accurate idea of what they are getting into. Do we?

"INVEST MORE!" ....stupid....

We are in the middle of one of the worst economic crises in history, the result of Bush's failed economic policies along with what we now know to be a criminal scheme carefully elaborated by groups that knew this administration would just "bail them out."
Yes: yesterday you invested $100 but, sorry, today you have only $50 left. The question is, "What happened to the missing $50?" Where are they? Did they simply "evaporate?"
NO, they didn't! They were just stolen! Simple as this: stolen from you. Money does not "evaporate" or magically becomes something else. When money is missing, usually it has been stolen. Someone out there has YOUR $50 - but you have no idea who is that.
What is still more outrageous is how many "economists" are now giving advice in the media - encouraging people to "invest more now," taking advantage of the "low prices" in order to start "building the wealth again." Yes, this is exactly what they are doing, trying to convince people that putting money in those manipulated and criminally managed investments is the wisest thing to do.
And guess what? People ARE stupid, and sure, they are going to do it again! And again! And again! As if they actually believed that money can just..."evaporate"...
