WHY ARE AMERICANS FLIRTING WITH FASCISM SO INTENSELY?

 I am just thinking of the past six years and what happened in America. Actually, I question, "What happened TO america" in this period of time?"

America has been the refuge for the entire world, as symbol of freedom, civil protection, and prosperity. Then immigrants like me are suddenly confronted with the reality that an enormous number of Americans are being attracted to FASCISM. And I wonder, Do they really know what Fascism is? Do they really want that kind of government for themselves and their families? Seriously?

Before signing up for Fascism, those who are so enthusiastically supporting the idea, should read at least one book on what happened to the German people when Fascism took over their government. Hitler was a Fascist, and his regime brough only disgrace to the German people. The scary part is that the steps that Hitler took to ascend in government were basically the same steps that Donald Trump was taking here in America during his administration. The similarity is baffling.  But, thank God, the Jan/6th coup d'etat failed.

The problem is that Hitler's first attempt to undertake the government in Germany also failed. But he succeeded the second time. So I wonder, Can Donald Trump succeed the second time? It is obvious that he is preparing everything for a second attempt to subvert the government if he loses again in 2024. I don't thing that there is any doubt about his intentions.

For heaven's sake, what happened to the American people that they have been so timid in repudiating Fascism? 

And, still worse, What happened to the Republican Party? It should be renamed, to The Repudiating Party since it is repudiating Democracy in America, and supporting the installation of Fascism. Those people must have their heads examined!!! Because something is tremendously wrong with their brain.

I wish in November 2022 people will repudiate Fascism at the voting boot. But, unfortunately, we are in great danger, because trhere are way too many people who are not educated enough politically and may end up bringing a catastrophe upon themselves by voting for the decayed, retrogressed Republican Party.

THE DAY DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA ALMOST DIED

Over five years ago I wrote my last post here. So many things happened since, so many outrageous things during the Trump Administration. Since day one he was destroying our most important Institutions; the list of his attacks to literally everything is huge, and I won't go through it at this time. This moment in time requires focusing on something worse than just Trump's lies. 

In a few  days it will be the first anniversary of the shameful "Jan/6th" insurrection, the day when America's Democracy was almost killed by a loser, defeated President who was instigating an insurrection aiming to kill Democracy and to install a FASCIST Government. A true "coup d'etat" that would replace Democracy with Trumpcracy. 

The investigations of what happened on that day are revealing staggering, scary facts on how the Republicans supported the insurgency. The sedition was evident and undeniable. The loss of Democracy was imminent!

But, thank God, the plan failed! I still can't understand what exactly happened that the apparently well orchestrated revolution failed. But I am glad it failed. Well, ... at least this time it failed. Hitler's first attempt to grab the German Government also failed, but the second time around it was successful - and led to a complete disgrace, unique in the history of mankind.

Trump's first attempt also failed. But, what about the second attempt to subvert the American Government? It will most probably happen in 2024. Can he succeed and establish FASCISM in the US? It sounds surreal, but may well be just real at the end of the day!

DO YOU BELIEVE IN LIES? IF SO, PLEASE VOTE FOR TRUMP!!!

The 2016 election season has become a shameful social chaos in the American society, nothing to be proud of at all! No wonder that many in the world are in disbelief seeing what it happening here. Donald Trump's behavior and speeches are a clear betrayal of the traditional American values and and cultural marks. What this man is doing to this country is incomprehensible.

Still more incomprehensible, though, is what so many voters are doing to destroy the good image of America in the world. By choosing Trump they are endangering the possibility of having a decent and capable POTUS that could help the country to continue digging itself out of the messy legacy of G. W. Bush.

No wonder the world is in awe, and calling Americans "stupid." What other reaction could we ever expect when people see many here in America voting for a person like Trump - after all he has said and done? And I happen to agree with them in their judgment!

Another shocking fact about Trump today in the news is that he is planting a gigantic lie about Hillary Clinton, saying that she wants to do away with the second amendment. We all know that it is a complete lie, but he is treating it as a fact and then promising to save the second amendment if elected. What concerns me the most is the number of people willing to elect an individual so dangerous, one that can actually destroy our country for good. No wonder so many people around the world are calling us stupid. Well, I must agree that those voting for Trump certainly deserve the comment they are receiving from abroad.

Therefore, if you believe in Trump's lies, you will probably vote for him. In this case, please do not blame the world for calling you "stupid." You certainly are asking for it, and deserve it as well!

THE VOTERS' CHOICES IN AMERICA

Though apparently very complicated, the main problem in this country can be summarized this way:


There are only two options for the people to vote on:

1) On those who care about people's needs and protect the middle class.
2) On those who favor only the rich and big corporations. (No, corporations are NOT people!)

If voters would vote only for those politicians that care about the voters' interests and needs, we would have no problem having a government for the people (main street). However, the amazing thing is that there are way too many voters that vote against their own best interest. Some don't have a healthcare plan, and they vote against having one! Others would vote for a decrease of taxes for the 1% rich, and an increase for their own taxes. And so on...

It's amazing that some people still support politicians that vote NO for every single bill in Congress that could create jobs immediately. It's obvious that "IQ" must be a component of the equation...

Only when people stop being self-destructive will it be possible to have a government that can help them to build something in life. Otherwise, bye bye American dream! The dream is becoming gradually a nightmare and unless we get rid of all politicians that vote AGAINST US, we the middle class, will be soon completely extinct.

Congress is now under OBSSTRUCTION! Thanks to the GOP - the Great Obstructionist Party.

AMERICAN PEOPLE SHOULD STOP FINANCING TERRORISM

After learning that Ossama bin Laden was actually living not in a cave but in a protected compound in PAKISTAN, close to a main military base, the US should immediately stop sending money to that corrupt and unloyal country.

It's not actually the US Government that is sending money to those enemies, it's the AMERICAN PEOPLE! Every time you and I pay taxes we know that part of it will be sent as a gift to a terrorist-sponsoring country. To at least one, Pakistan. But there are also other countries benefiting from our stupid "generosity", like Afghanistan. Our money, fruit of our daily labor, has no place in those terrorist countries, while we are here drowning in debt and paying $4 a gallon of gas.

It's time for America to stop financing terrorism!

In less then 24 hours after the disastrous election loss in NY 26th, the GOP in the Senate voted in favor of the Paul Ryan plan that includes dismantling Medicare, Medicais, and S Security and transferring more money to the welthy. A true attempt to destroy the middle class in this country.

How more idiotic than this can it become? Do they really expect republican voters to actually vote for them in their next re-election efforts?

This is the biggest offense to the American People's intelligence that I have ever seen.

Didn't the Republicans get so many seats in Congress last November because they promised to make JOBS their priority?

Well, six months went by and we didn't even hear them talking about jobs.  What happened? Did they just fool the people? It looks like.

They were focusing more on ways to destroy the middle class and transfer all wealth to the rich in the country. Next step is to dismantle MEDICARE, MEDICAID, and SOCIAL SECURITY, robbing people from their acquired rights and, again, just transferring the money to the wealthy.

I hope that what happened at the NEW YORK 26th DISTRICT yesterday is the beginning of people finally waking up to reality, to the fact that those mafiosi will not work for the middle class but rather only to destroy the middle class.

This is one of the most outrageous things I have ever seen: Today Republicans in Congress voted against providing health help to those dedicated people who got sick as result of their work during the 9/11 tragedy.

This is just incomprehensible and unacceptable! Republicans want to borrow about $800 billion dollars from China, to just transfer it to the 2% richest people in the country - but TODAY they denied health support for those victims in New York. How can those politicians sleep tonight?

Can anyone, please, explain what is going on in the GOP arena? Who are those people? Their maneuvers sure show us how full of "manure" they are. Do they have any sense of decency at all? Doesn't look like! What about compassion to others in suffering? Ohhh, forget about this one!

This is just UNBELIEVABLE! But yes, it is the Republican ideology at work!

It seems that the Democrats are finally waking up and telling the Republicans, "NO, you are not going to destroy this country any more than you already did!"

If the President is caving in, that is his choice, but I hope the Democrats in Congress will act firmly and strongly in combating the Republicans' current plans to sufocate the middle class and to transfer still more wealth to the wealthiest 2%.

Let all Bush-it tax cuts expire, then start over. Let see what the Republicans can do. If they hurt the middle class still more, and protect the rich still more - as they are forcing to do right now - they should be exposed and made responsible. Though I am not sure that their voters will be open minded enough to see the obvious...

One think I know: The "old fox" is NOT in Nigeria. Neither will he be in any flight to or even over that country any soon. Well... at least not right now...

Actually, there is no reason for him to be there or even to make any contact with those people anymore. It seems that, at a modest fee of $180 million he has already gotten everything he wanted from that country. No need for further bribing-business there...

The US government is making strong statements about Wikileaks, encouraging the Courts to act strongly against Julian Assange, and denouncing all his activities as being international "crimes". (You know, the guy who is revealing so many interesting things about governments' behaviors, etc.).  It's been said that, 'JUSTICE must act against him and punish his unacceptable, reprehensible, and criminal behavior! This is the right, moral thing to do!'

Now, what about Cheney? He better stays in the US, where JUSTICE will protect him for good. I bet that whatever the Nigerian accusations against Cheney may be, the American JUSTICE will certainly prevent any country of putting its hands on the powerful old fox. If nothing was ever done about his "behaviors" in this country as vice-president, nobody should expect any successful prosecution of his "behaviors" in other countries.

If Nigeria ever asks for Cheney's extradition to face prosecution for his "behaviors" in that country, it will be very interesting to see how the American JUSTICE will treat and manipulate the case in order to protect the old fox...

Well, we all know that Cheney has nothing to fear.

Well, this was the straw that broke my back! Today is a very sad day for this country, when the President sold himself (again) to the Republicans. Now he just has to call China, ask for 800 billion dollars, and pass them on to the American billionaires. Direct deposit, to make it faster and easier! And the bill... will be sent to us, to the people, to be paid by the American workers.

I just took two stickers off our cars' bumpers. No more Obama in this household. He promised to fight for the American middle class, and he failed the people. He is not a fighter. He has caved in time and time again to the hypocrite Republicans, and now enough is enough. Anyone who is crazy enough can get the stickers I am offering for free (no shipping and handling, I'll even pay for the stamps just to get rid of them...).

What is the next step for the people? To urgently look for a new presidential candidate (Democrat) who we could believe in, and who would actually be serious about fighting for the American people.

Nice try Mr. President... But you are not the guy that the American Middle Class needs. We need someone who will stand up to principle instead of just trying to negotiate with the enemy. Republicans are true enemies of the American people - we all can see it now more than ever before. They care only about the wealthy, and nobody else.

In the past few weeks I have been troubled by Obama's stagnant attitude regarding the GOP's most recent attacks on the middle class. Where is the "candidate" Obama? What happened to his promises to the middle class in America? Why is he so impotent in dealing with the un-American Republicans who want to protect just the high rich class? Is he becoming like the Republicans who just say to the middle class, "Go f.... yourselves?"

Well..., I just read something interesting, an article on the Internet (Google) which stated that Obama is a member of the BILDERBERGERS. Something "clicked" immediately in my mind. Can this be the answer I was looking for? If this is actually true, then I rest my case, there is no point in hoping that Obama will do something positive in favor of the middle class. May be HealthCare was already considered to be too much, and it was seen as him "trespassing" some limits. As a Bilderberger, he won't be allowed to keep going in the direction he promised.

Disappointing, frustrating, and sad. Indeed.

But at the same time, understandable, since he may be dealing with a difficult choice: Conform or be KICKED OUT from the party. Not the Democratic Party, the "other" party! Apparently, the party is over for him...

I can't understand how a true liberal, "for the people" person can be part of that "other party" since they are mutually exclusive.

I quit! I am no longer relying on Obama - especially considering his behavior in the past weeks while dealing with the evil Republicans. Obama is history, I doubt he will get re-elected. At least not by me, since I want(ed) a President who would stick to his promises and would fight for the good of the people. It's clear now that he does not have the guts to do that. Here it is, the Great Obstructionist Plan. Republicans finally revealed the best production of their intelligence and intentions regarding the rhetoric used to win some seats in the past elections.

Republicans promised to get the job done - creating millions of jobs. And saving the country from Obama! Yeah, ... just another instance of cheating on the public.

Now that they won part of the Congress, they are already revealing their plan: OBSTRUCT everything Obama tries to do in favor of the middle class.

How can this "create the jobs" they so adamantly promised? Saying "NO" to everything, voting always against the middle class, favoring just the 2% wealthiest in the country! Who buys into this tactic? Aparently there are idiots enough in the country to vote for that deceiving rhetoric. A few days ago I saw on TV something that defied my reasoning: An unemployed guy defending his vote in favor of a Congressman who is against expanding credit for small/medium businesses.

Can someone go more stupid than that? It seems the guy may be kind of suicidal, voting against his own interest. And there are millions like him who voted against themselves.

Are corporations winning again? It looks like. Which means that the MIDDLE CLASS in America is going to be weakened, taken more advantage of, if not destroyed by those giants.

Well, keep voting America. Show how good you can do to yourself!

But I still believe that making DESTROYING THE OBAMA'S PRESIDENCY the priority in Congress will NOT create the promised jobs. It will just... destroy the Presidency and harm the American people.

I have been all pro-Obama since the beginning, and I still fully support him and his goals for the middle class in this country. But at the same time I am now starting to ask myself, "What is wrong with the man?" Something must be terribly wrong!

Knowing that the Republican leaders have had only one goal, to destroy his presidency, why isn't he fighting back? The GOP has no interest in working for the people's interests. They are the Party of NO, they support only big businesses, and care less about us. Since Obama dared to defy those big interests, the GOP became united around the common goal of destroying him.

What amazes me is that Obama seems not yet to believe that those Republicans are his (and our) enemies. He still insists in making deals with them. And this now, serving them a dinner? He must be kidding us!

At this point what he has to do is to fight them, preventing them from continuing the destructive work that Bush-it did. They have the House, so what? Nothing will happen as long as the Senate remains Democrat and Obama the President. On the opposite of what he is doing, Obama should expose to the country every single obstructive Republican action. Enough of being nice to the wolves!

Mr. President, WAKE UP! Do the job we elected you to do! Don't let the Republicans abuse YOU and US this way! Fight back! Send them back home hungry instead of serving them dinner. Tell them that THEY have to copmpromise and meet you half way.

This is becoming ridiculous. The Republican arrogance and the hypocrisy are so evident. Unfortunately, it seems that too many voters are paralyzed "upstairs" and can no longer think rationally or even use common sense.

The GOP leaders are now saying that they "may be able" to work with the President if he is willing to compromise. Besides sounding arrogant, it's a totally hypocritical position.


There are no words to describe such a demagogic behavior. Republicans became experts in NOT compromising on anything! For two years the GOP said NO to all projects advanced in Congress by the Democrats. They voted against some ideas that were even of their own! How stupid is that????

The GOP's statements are becoming more and more offensive to the American people, suggesting that people are dumb and lack intelligence. May be it is so. The worst, however, is that the GOP has been very successful in blinding and mesmerizing their people - just see what happened on election day!

What kind of "compromise" do they want from Obama? Certainly to do just this:

- Privatizing Social Security - so everyone will lose retirement on another Wall Street robbery.
- Privatizing Medicare - more money lost to the wealthy on Wall street.
- Repealing the new healthcare law - making sure insurance companies keep ripping us off. People's afordability is not an issue for the GOP.
- Sending more jobs to China - the GOP doesn't care about the American worker.
- Keeping tax cuts to the rich - they never, ever think about the middle class.

Who knows what else is on their list? But, isn't the absurdity above enough to outrage any intelligent, thinking human being?

It's amazing how many people in this country are willing and able to vote against themselves...

Can anyone mention one single project that Bush did that benefited the middle class? None!
Obama did more in two years than Bush in eight, but still many people chose to put the GOP back in charge of the House.

Though, the unanswered question remains unanswered: Besides "listening to the American people," is there actually any realistic plan being proposed by the GOP to create jobs and to restore the economy? There is none!

It's already visible what technique Boehner is going to use to keep deceiving the American people. He is already doing it: he will keep talking about "LISTENING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE," repeating it so many times until people become numb and end up believing in it. He is not saying what the GOP is going to DO!

As the Republicans have done so far, they will probably do nothing else besides "listening." And people will still vote for them... Who gets this one???

So now it's been revealed that Karzai has been in bed with IRAN all that time, pulling money from them while pretending to be a friend of the USA - thus pulling money from us as well. Reuters reported today that, "All 41 Republicans in the 100-seat Senate expressed their opposition to the financial reform bill in a letter on Friday but said they were still willing to work with Democrats on the issue." They may even not know the bill in its fullness yet, but they already decided to oppose it ("Hell NO!!!" no matter what!). And, why do they keep saying they are still willing to work with Democrats if they already decided for NO?

This is how the PARTY OF NO operates: Just SAY NO to all, no matter what; and if the bill benefits the middle class, then make sure you do whatever it takes to kill it!!!

Inexplicably, however, there are still millions in this country willing to vote against themselves, against their own personal interests. I bet many "tea baggers" don't have health insurance, and many lost money on corrupt Wall Street. But there they are, those wise idiots, yelling and screaming, protesting against the right to have health care, and against protecting their own money with an economic reform.

Rush Limbaugh is becoming undeniably sicker day after day, spitting all kinds of lies and nonsense on his poor and idiot audience, trying to deceive as many as possible. Little he knows that sooner or later those who may be at least a little intellectually and mentally balanced will figure it out and will split from his lunaticism and will no longer be part of his effort to undermine this country's democracy.

For years Limbaugh has engaged in his suicidal attempt (figuratively speaking) as a credible commentator, or a comedian. A very poor comedian indeed, rather a very disgusting entertainer.

Now that he is losing audience because of his evident lack of intellectual and political honesty, he is becoming despaired. Total desperation. And how he deals with it? Yelling and screaming - the only way he knows to communicate something. Well, it's over now, because his way of persuading people with stupidity and nonsense appears to be failing for good.

Thus he has to apply another strategy: blaming President Obama, saying that he is engaged in "character assassination". Well, this is the strategy Limbaugh has used for so many years, so he thinks that this is what everyone else does as well.

Poor Limbaugh. He has been committing credibility-suicide for so many years, and now he is not even honest enough to owe the results of his own actions, and has to blame the President for it.

He is certainly very sick as we all can see.

For decades several presidents tried to help the middle class and the poor people in this country, but the Republicans always opposed because the only thing they actually care about is to protect the corporations that give them MONEY via their lobbysts - "the legal bribing"... which is nothing else than a crime against the people. But, ... who cares, right?

This is why the Rep party is an angry and frustrated party of NO. They still have many people cheering and voting for them, but those are the very ones who are able to vote against themselves, against their own personal interest. Like those who re-elected George Bush... Like those who have no health insurance yet, but keep yelling and screaming against the health care reform bill that would allow them to have coverage for themselves and their families. Now that it's law, they should just say NO to getting coverage; but those hypocrites may be the first ones to sign up!

WILL OBAMA EVER LEARN?

Like millions of other Americans I strongly supported Obama during the campaign because I was assured he would fight for real change. After one year of government I need to confess that I am kind of disappointed at him.

I know his task was (is) immense and extremely difficult. After eight years of Bush/Cheney's abuse, it became onvious that this country became almost ungovernable. Obama promised to be strong in making the fundamental changes needed, and that caught people's attention because it was a spark of hope in the middle of true chaos.

But it seems that Obama underestimated the Republicans and the right conservatives. They would do the unthinkable to make his government a "Waterloo" and to "brake Obama." They absolutely don't care about the people's needs; they only focus on the big corporations' interests. They get people's votes to be elected, and then go to Washington to vote against those people who elected them. Yes, the PARTY OF NO, the GOP (Great Obstructionist Party). In the past year they voted against ALL bills, obstructing any progress from happening. One year of NO, NO, NO. They truly are great citizens and patriots, aren't they?

Mr. President: the time is past due for you to understand that the opposition will not respond positively to your kindness and politeness. You are too much of a gentleman but you need to be rather a fighter to protect us from the the BIG CORPORATIONS and from the WALL STREET mafiosi. And now, even "THE FIVE" at the Supreme Court joined the march against people's interest. Leave those hypocrites, the Republicans, in their darkness; you must take off. Just leave them behind. Use anything needed to defend and advance the people's causes. Remember Bush/Cheney's tactics: they even used reconciliation to pass a big tax-break for the wealthy!

Enough is enough! If Obama doesn't start to fight for good, he will probably be replaced in 2012. We need a President who fights the special interests, who would send the Reps to hell with their BS, who would not waste time trying to make agreements with people who are numb from the neck up!

By the end of the Bush/Cheney dark-era I became very discouraged seeing the massive destruction of this country being finalized (on purpose) by that gang - and yet supported by many despite the evident facts of corruption and deceiveness. That was when I started wondering if it would EVER be possible to rebuild America after such a disaster. Actually, I wrote a blog on it at that time, (take a look below, it's dated November 10th, 2008), expressing my deep concerns on this issue.

Honestly, seeing what is happening now, I think it's already too late to save this country from the Bush-tsunami. The USA is even changing its name now, to CSA!!! (Corporate States of America). And this is happening by the latest act of the Supreme Court, allowing corporations to buy as many politicians as they want, which is certainly the end of democracy in this country. We will have now a true DEMON-cracy.

Naively, I always thought that the Supreme Court would keep the Law and Order in place for the people no matter what. But it is now evident that money is more powerful than people!!!

And still worse, the right conservative wing is now trying to sell the idea that what is happening in the country is all Obama's fault. And much worse yet, it seems that many people are totally amnestic, numb from the neck up, and will end up believing it, forgeting all the lies told by the Bushit gang and all special interests involved in each decision by the Bush administrbullshit.

And now, to complicate things still more, we got another Cheney-type, the so called "41st".
Just amazing, and... unbelievable!!!...

MR. LIEBERMAN: TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!

Twenty years ago to date the Berlin Wall went down and a new era was inaugurated not only for Germany but for the whole world. Freedom and the right to access all kinds of goods and services became reality for half of Germany - the half that had been denied to be human.

The wall went down. And the world became better.

Now it's time for part of the American population to be allowed a basic human right, the right to access affordable health care. A huge wall has existed between health care and some 40 million Americans. Although the House passed the bill last Saturday, there is still a long way to go. The PARTY OF NO has significant representation in the Senate, and they are really committed to keep DOING NOTHING FOR THE PEOPLE of this country. Well, what's new anyway?

What amazes me, however, is that an individual like Senator Lieberman is still considered a Democrat, or someone who works for the people.But he does NOT! He was against Obama for president. He is against health care reform.

Last night Senator Lieberman said on Fox News that he cannot vote for a public option being in the bill for reasons of consciousness. WOW!!!! What a HYPOCRITE! In his campaign he declared time and time again that he supported health reform, and made several statements in favor of public option. And now, he changes his position on the issue, deceiving his electorate.... and this is not a matter of "consciousness" for him??? This is stunning!!! I guess he has been in bed with the health insurance companies to a point that his "consciousness" would be violated if he did something against those giant companies. But, what about the people of this country? Well,.... sorry, but... who cares?

So, now we have Senator Lieberman saying that he will even filibuster the bill in the Senate if it contains a public option. Mr Lieberman does not want to "tear down the wall".

1) Job losses started to happen 22 months ago.
2) Obama is in office for about 9 months.
3) Job losses started to happen during the last 13 months of the Bush-it Administration.

An now the Republicans are trying to brain-wash the American people telling then that the Obama Administration is responsible for the situation. Isn't this just immoral behavior showing total lack of character?

This is amazing: yesterday I got a phone call from Congressman CALVIN CALVERT (Rep-CA, 44th District).

It was supposed to be a call to ask my opinion, YES or NO, about passing the Healthcare Reform Bill today. But before I could answer, the man explained why he will be voting NO anyway. Then after I said that YES, I support the change we voted for, the man keeps telling me why I am wrong and he is right.

Wrong were those stupid voters around here who voted in a representative that would not represent them but would rather sell his soul to the HEALTH INSURANCE GIANT COMPANIES!

How stupid those Republicans think the American people are? They should stop offending our intelligence!!!

Those who are against HEALTH REFORM belong to either one of these two groups:

1) Those who HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE: many protesters, and all Representatives in Congress have health insurance themselves. Why is it than that they oppose others to have the same opportunity they have? This is HYPOCRISY!

2) Those who DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE: there are many protesters who don't have access to health insurance, but there they are barking against reform. Which means that they are fighting against themselves and their families. This is STUPIDITY!

Whenever a Muslim commits a crime and is criticized, we immediately see someone from the Muslim community reacting and saying that religious profiling is happening. They all become defensive and accuse the media and society at large of discrimination.

Well, have you EVER seen a major Muslim entity to denounce such crimes? Did they ever formally disapprove 9/11? What about this shooting at Fort Hood? Have you seen any Muslim saying it was a crime and criticizing the perpetrator?

If the Muslims really want to detach from the Muslims who commit crimes, they should say it clearly and out loud. We never see this happening, though. Why is that?

This time the message is crystal-clear! It's the World telling America that they are relieved and happy that America has again chosen a decent, intelligent, and friendly President. The Bush-it years were not only hard on us in the States, they were also a nightmare to the whole World. Bush not only destroyed America but many important bridges with the rest of the world as well, and made too many enemies.

Now, the guys who are making all those insane comments of dissatisfaction with the prize being given to Obama, those are true ANTI-AMERICANS. They never think of the people in this country, their only interest is protecting big corporations and the wealthy - thus assuring some good revenues to themselves. Selfish, insensitive people. But it seems that their corrupt and corroding power is decreasing by the day. The American people seem to be waking up, being able to defend themselves against the exploitation that we saw from 2000 to 2008 - the Bush-it years.

Limbaugh and his minions keep barking. But their effectiveness is now weakening by the hour. The intelligent people in this country, the good thinkers, are realizing how stupid and unpatriotic are those hypocrite conservatives who will do whatever possible to make OBAMA FAIL. If the President fails, we the people fail. But that is not the right-conservatives' concern. Their only concern is their only pocket! Hell with "the people", wealth for "a few people"...

LINDSEY GRAHAM WANTS AMERICA TO FAIL!

Just today, the outspoken representative (R) Lindsey Graham made a strong imperialist statement about bombing Iran and destroying it's capability to defend themselves against foreign attacks. He was not talking only about nuclear weapons, which should be prevented, of course. He threatened them with destroying ALL their military capability. What kind of delusional imperialism is this? It's sick, just another Bush-it style idiotic talk.

At a time when President Obama's diplomacy with the Iranians is starting to work, a time when we all should be sensitive and hopeful, comes this foolish bozo trying to undermine the President's efforts to resolve the conflicting issues in peace. Does he want more war? How many more of our best troops should die in vain as it happened in Iraq? What an idiot! What right does he have to talk in a way that jeopardizes the American people's hope?

It's time for those Republicans to stop their unending efforts to make AMERICA TO FAIL! If America fails as they wish, we all, the people, will be immersed in a disgrace never seen before.

But again, they don't care about "the people", as long as "a few people" - the top 1% of the wealthy - remain safe. This is the Republican "solution" for our Country.

The time is coming to VOTE THEM OUT and send them back home. Enough is enough!

I would never imagine that any American citizen would wish our country to fail. But the facts show us different. When the Olympics 2016 were won by RIO, the Republicans had a ball. They rejoiced that the Olympics would not come to the US. They were happy that all the monetary benefits that could result helping our economy will not happen.

Can anyone explain to me what kind of "patriotism" is this? This is actually TREASON!!! Those guys are working against our economy, against our people, against you and me, against the great AMERICA!!!

Please do not forget this when you vote next time. Here we are with a new President trying to clean up all the "Bush-it left behind" by the prior administration, and the Republicans are working hard to make President Obama's efforts to fail. Unbelievable!

CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY

NOW THE DOTS ARE CONNECTED!!!

Finally the dots have been connected. There were many intriguing events that happened during the Bush-it Administration. They broke the law, they violated the Constitution, they mislead the American people with lies, they started an unwarranted war, they destroyed our economy, and the list goes on. BUT, they got away with everything. How come?

Then, after supporting Wall Street in stealing all our money and breaking the popular economy by " transferring" people's money to the wealthy 1% in the nation, they came up with the criminal bail out in October of 2009. First Congress voted along with the people, saying NO to the robbery. Then, after the Administration used the threat of declaring MARTIAL LAW, Congress succumbed and the people lost - again.

There were many dots that were not connected - until yesterday, when I watched Michael Moore's movie "Capitalism: a Love Story." Thanks Mike for connecting the dots for us. Now I understand it better, seeing how the power was abused by "the gang" in destroying America so much.

If a Republican had won the past election, it would have been time to "pack up and go" because this country would have been marching toward slavery again: "the people" would become the slaves of "a few people". To which we are actually very close, and I hope Obama will succeed in reverting the process. We need to restore DEMOCRACY again, and rebuild the middle class - otherwise we are done as a great country.

Again, Thanks Mike for helping this tired nation to understand what we went through during Cheney/Bush. I hope it helps people to think rationally before they vote again - though I have serious doubts about it: it's the same people who elected Bush, and even after seeing who his "gang" was and what they all were doing to the country, they still re-elected him.

One of the core principles taught in the Bible is that we need to be sensitive to others' needs and distresses. To be a Christian involves promoting the well-being of other people who are struggling with insurmountable difficulties in life.

Republicans are unanimously united in denying to over 40 million Americans the right to access affordable health care. And they call themselves "conservatives". I don't know what are they actually "conserving". It's probably the money paid to them by lobbyists that they are "conserving" in their pockets. Those representatives are elected to fight on our (people's) behalf, in order to make everyone's life more just and more humane.

But what are they doing instead? They are just blocking people's access to one of the most fundamental human rights: health care. They are a bunch of hypocrites that have mislead voters and deceived their constituents. For how long more will they be able to continue this unpatriotic behavior? They are actually traitors of people's interests, and should be just voted out to give someone else the opportunity to be a true representative of the people.

Will the American Christians ever wake up and stop this un-Christian, deceitful behavior in Washington?
