ROVE, REPUBLICANS, AND PEOPLE'S HEALTH
Thinkprogress.com reported yesterday that according to Karl Rove, "We don't need a change in our Health Care System." Of course not...
The Republican insistence in keeping the things as they are clearly shows their commitment to the top rich class and big corporations, totally despising and being careless about the middle class, the people. It's evident that for them, "the people" are not relevant at all. The focus is obvious, keep the rich wealthy at the expenses of "the people".
Well, there are some news for Karl Rove and the Republicans. They are "good news for the people." This time (hopefully) things are going to happen and "the people" will benefit from the changes. Forty seven million people will have access to health care, which was impossible under a Republican government. Sorry Mr. Rove, but those people will now be able to get help when they become sick, even though you may keep thinking and saying that it is outrageous, unnecessary, and unimportant.
What we need in this Country is a little more of sensitivity for "the people" and their real needs as human beings. My hope is that under President Obama - the only one president we have right now - the middle class will be strenghtened and taken care of. I feel it is going to happen this time because he seems to be very sensitive to the problem and has lots of prior experience as a community organizer.
Actually, our country has been so poorly managed for the past eight years that what we needed the most was a president capable of re-organizing it after the devastation caused by Bush and his gang. I still wonder if America will ever recover from the destruction inflicted by this Bush-it administration, thoughI am becoming more hopeful as I see Obama already acting toward his goals.
We need the changes Mr. Rove, and fast - before the middle class is totally destroyed and barred from getting their American dream. You and the Republicans were almost successful in destroying the middle class, but still in time our semi-democratic* system saved them.
-------------
* Electoral college is not a true democratic system. Popular vote is, and America does not have it. Obama should change this, making us a truly democratic Country.

BUSH'S PARDON TO DRUG DEALERS. Any Surprise?
The news are telling us that Bush just pardoned 14 people, among them some drug-dealers. At least Lou Dobbs (CNN) reported it this afternoon.
Well, what a surprise, isn't it? NO! NO SURPRISE at all! There has been something very strange in this administration's behavior regarding the treatment given to drug-dealers. Have anyone ever heard of any specific or intense attack to the drug-dealers that come from another countries? I haven't.
On the opposite, it seems that the drug-dealers feel very confident doing their business here, as if the knew they are protected!
Yes, protected from border patroll agents like COMPEAN and RAMOS who were sent to prison for defending our Country against a drug dealer. For these commited servants, NO PARDON, just jail!!! A sound and clear message to those who would dare to mess with the drug-dealers. Or, let's call them, "the allies."
What else needs to be said to understand what has been going on????

FIXING THE ECONOMY. Obama vs. Bush
It's a simple question: If Bush can't fix the economy, what makes Obama think he can?
The complete mess left behind by the current Bush-it administration is bigger and worse than we can think of. I wonder if even Obama has an accurate view of the huge mess we are in.
Any short-term fix would be an utopia now. I hope people will always remember what the Bush-it legacy has been: favoring the rich and big corporations at the expense of the middle class economy. Their rationale has always been, "The people? Who cares about the people? Oil matters more than people!!!" Amazingly though, ... some 48% of the American PEOPLE would still prefer more of this Bush-it in a McBush-Cain format. Unbelievable! (I am glad this time the "thinkers" in this Country made the majority and voted "the gang" out!)
Back to the original question. I think that what gives us some hope that Obama will start fixing the economy now is based on:
1) Obama WANTS to do fix it.
(Bush couldn't care less).
2) Obama is willing to make the MIDDLE CLASS stronger, understanding that these are the people who produce and consume goods - not the rich or the poor!
(Bush paid no attention to the middle class; he believed Cheney, the old "oilly" rat!).
3) Obama owes nothing to the lobby industry - which is just a type of legally organized crime in this Country.
(Bush sold his soul to them).
4) Obama is genuinely interested in this Country's future and thinks about the future generations.
(Bush can't even speak, much less think - he has some "nukelar" problem in his brain, most probably related to his past drinking).
So, President Obama: just go ahead and "FIX IT! FIX IT!"
(As commanded by the guy on the Saturday Night Live show...)

BUSH FIXING THE GLOBAL CRISIS? Is this another joke?
Or is it just another insult to the American people?
Isn't it a little bit too late for Bush to get involved in a "fixing" activity as he is trying now at the G20 meeting?
One of the things I have hated the most about this administration is their continued insult to the American intelligence. They treat us, the people, as if we were all brainless, unintelligent, and completely stupid. Sure, there are some people like that, who voted for them, but that condition ought not to be assumed about the general public.
What will be the next move by this administration? Declaring martial law (and postponing President Obama's inauguration) arguing that the economy is too bad and needs to be fixed before any transition of government can happen safely?
The more Bush tries to fix something the more broken it becomes. It's time for him to just get out of Obama's way, the sooner the better for the American people.
Bush and his gang destroyed this Country to a point that I wonder if we will ever recover from it. Everything is falling apart. Everything! Just look around, or watch the daily news. And Bush is still being referred to by the media? Give me a break!!!
This is both, a joke AND an insult to the American people's intelligence!
--------------------------
NO ACCOUNTABILITY? JUST ROBBERY???
Why is accountability for the $700 bi even being discussed in the news? I thought it is always implicit that whoever gives the money has the right to know where the money goes! Well..., we kind of know where the money is going, don't we? We, the people, are not as stupid as this administration always pretended we were.
Remember, the bandits have less than 70 days now to rip us completely off. And they seem to be working hard on their project...
But, what's new anyway? This administration never, ever behaved as we would normally expect. This is the most criminal mentality I have ever seen in a government, so no wonder people were looking for some relief from the abuse - and showed it on election day!
After eight years of Kafka's "The Trial" governing style in Washington, we are all ready to send the gang back home (should rather be prison, but this is not going to happen, I know...) and inaugurate some decency again in January/09. I wish the Constitution will again be respected and followed in this Country!
In the meantine, let's wish the idiots don't start bombimg Iran. Remember, Cheney is still in charge!!! (And he would certainly love to leave behind such a "gift" to Obama!)

OUTRAGEOUS RESCUES - The ultimate rip off
It looks like a last minute action during a robbery. Only this time it is being perpetrated by the very Federal Government that is supposed to protect us from such crimes. Imagine an INSURANCE company (AIG) in need of being rescued. Is this a joke?
This time the AUTO-INDUSTRY also acted fast, taking their hat to Washington. And guess what? Yes, they will certainly get our money as part of the "rescue" package.
Who's next in line? The Pharmaceutical companies, or the Tobacco industry? Poor guys, they have been doing so bad lately, isn't it?....
I am curious who will Cheney be working for next year....
SARAH PALIN STILL IN THE NEWS? Thanks. But, NO THANKS!!!
How much more inconvenient can this woman become? She doesn't get it, does she?
Sure it's in the media's interest to have her palling outside Alaska, to keep reporters busy with something. But at this point the best she could do is to get back to her governor's activities to make sure that "the Great State of Alaska" is properly taken care of.
It seems, however, that she believes different, thinking that the American people are so much interested in her that she should continue her campaign for 2012. Apparently she is not yet aware that people had already enough of her, and that "enough is enough."
Going on Oprah's show? People are clearly not excited about it. Today's survey on ShowBizz indicated that 28% are in favor, but 72% said "Thanks, but NO THANKS!!!"
Will she ever get it? Doesn't look like.
WHERE ARE ALL THE REPUBLICANS NOW? Can't find them...
It's very interesting to watch the news on TV now, especially when some known Republicans make comments on the election, on Obama as a person, etc. Suddenly they all seem to agree with Obama's policies, congratulating him for the victory, and expressing their assurance that he will indeed lead the Country in the right direction.
Right direction? So... what happened to McCain's direction? How come Obama suddenly is no longer a Muslim, a terrorist, and all other things that were said about him (especially by the vicious Sarah Palin)? HE is now the right guy for the Country, eh???
I hate hypocrisy!!!
COMPEAN & RAMOS? Or just the turkey?...
What do you think, will Bush pardon Compean and Ramos for having commited the crime of defending our border against a drug dealer? Or will he just pardon the turkey?
I personally doubt that he will give them the pardon. It would be easier for him to pardon any drug dealer. For some reason (and I wonder, what could that be???) so far Bush refused to actually close the border or to do something drastic and effective against the drug dealers. In the past eight years, have you seen any real action being taken by this administration against the drug dealers? None that I know.
Actually, it seems that the "Compean & Ramos" case has served as a clear signal to everyone that drug dealers should be left alone, otherwise... Well, I am glad that President Obama will change some things in this Country, and I hope that Compean & Ramos get their cases on his desk at the oval office for proper handling. No more Bush-it on this issue!

OBAMA / BUSH - Two Presidents?
Today President Obama visits his next home for the first time. Another step toward kicking George W. from the White House and end the eight-year-long Bush-it that has destroyed our Country significantly.
Obama said it right a few days ago, "There is only one President" - and I guess it's just him now, becaused we didn't have a real President for the past eight years. We Had George W. Bush, and it says it all...
The White House, the most powerful office on Earth, will finally be occupied by a person who can think and speak as President, and not by a former drunk who can't even say the word "nuclear" (but rather "nukelar") no matter what speaking "strategery" he utilizes...
WILL AMERICA EVER RECOVER FROM THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS BUSH-IT?
It's almost one week since the election of BARACK OBAMA as our new President, but I am still feeling strange about it, still asking myself, "Is it really true?"
I will certainly feel safe only after the inauguration day, because the current administration can still do something "crazy and illegal" as they have been known for during the past eight years - starting with basically stealing the election in 2000.
Thus, at this time I am only hoping that time elapses a hundred times faster than usually. I wish the inauguration happened this morning, which would make me feel safer and relaxed this afternoon. Before those two powerful idiots in Washington decide to "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran..." - as the third idiot considered. Which, knowing their behavior in the past eight years, is still a real possibility, since they care less about our Country.
This Bush-it administration was consistent in one thing: Our Country doesn't matter, what matters is the gain of big corporations. What a NIGHTMARE!
Nightmare? Ahhhh....when Obama was declared the winner I felt like the unending nightmare (the Bush-it administration) was over. Though it's not yet, but it's close now.
ALMOST A McDISASTER!
The 2000 election was a close call. Americans had one foot in hell for eight years. Had McCain won, it would be like stepping in hell with both feet. McCain reminds me the Japanese soldier hiding in the bushes years after the war was over. He is still at war in Vietnam, but since there is no more a war in that region, he would easily bomb Iran (or Russia!) and proclaim victory! HE is still at odds with this issue.
McCain a "hero?" Explain this one to me, I don't get it. He disobeyed the orders and flew beyond the zone he was supposedly sent to. As if he decided to win the war by himself only, right there, at that very moment (kind of a "Sarah Palin decision"...). He was shot down and put in prison for five years. Sure, he did a nice thing refusing to be liberated before another soldier who was captured prior - and deserves credit for it. But using this "experience" as proof of readiness and expertise to be president of the United States of America is nothing less than presumptuous and arrogant.
It's amazing that people (luckily only 48%...) still bought into this type of nonsense.
WHY ARE AMERICANS FLIRTING WITH FASCISM SO INTENSELY?
I am just thinking of the past six years and what happened in America. Actually, I question, "What happened TO america" in this p...
